The Storefront Club exists to help you make smarter, more deliberate purchases. That only works if you can trust what we publish. So here is exactly how we handle affiliate links, sponsored content, and editorial autonomy.

Affiliate Links

Some of the products we cover are sold through retailers that offer a small commission when you click a link and buy. You do not pay more. We just get a cut from the seller.

We never accept payment or free product in exchange for a link. If we recommend a watch or a leather bag, it is because our editorial team decided it belongs in the club, not because a brand paid for placement. You will see affiliate links on product pages and in some roundups. We do not hide them.

If a link exists, we expect it to pass the same test as any other recommendation: it should be a piece we would genuinely consider buying ourselves.

Sponsored Content

We sometimes publish content that a brand pays us to create. When we do, we label it clearly with “Sponsored” or “Partner Content” at the top. The label is plain and stays visible the whole time you are reading.

Sponsored pieces are still subject to the same editorial standards. If we do not believe the product fits this club, we turn the project down. We have said no to lucrative proposals because the watch was poorly made or the jacket was overpriced. That is not a boast; it is policy.

Editorial Autonomy

No advertiser, sponsor, or retailer has any say in what we review, how we review it, or where we place affiliate links. Our buying guides, deal roundups, and features are driven by what we think you would want to know, not by a sales deck.

We test products ourselves. We talk to makers. We ignore hype. If a brand sends a press release and the product does not pass our threshold for craftsmanship or quiet luxury, you will not see it here, no matter how much commission it might generate.

That is the deal. You trust us to be honest, and we keep our income streams separate from our judgment. If that ever changes, we will tell you.
